Your Childcare Provider

Hello! I am Ms. April, the Owner and Primary Care Provider at A New Day Academy (ANDA), and I am thrilled to embark on this educational journey with you and your child.

 

A bit about me: I am a proud mom of two boys, caregiver to my teenage brother and two toddler cousins. I enjoy exploring my creative side, sharing intriguing facts and philosophical insights, and introducing my children (and daycare kiddos) to fine dining, communistic entertainment, and explorations. With over 15 years of childcare experience, starting as an Assistant Care Provider in my mother’s in-home daycare, I have been running my own in-home facility since 2017.

 

I am currently pursuing degrees in Early Childhood Education and Philosophy, which both fueled my passion for nurturing young minds and watching them grow into confident leaders. I am also certified in Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and Asthma Care, and licensed by the State of Kansas(KDHE), City of Park City and Wichita, and various federal, state and local agencies.

 

At ANDA, my Mission is: To create a supportive, love-filled environment where your child can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially while utilizing diverse learning approaches that inspires a love of learning, growth and self discovery.
